Bodega — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how LeadForgeGrowth LLC, operator of Bodega ("we", "us"), handles information when you use Bodega at bodegamed.com. Bodega is a business tool for clinics; it is not intended for consumers or anyone under 18.

1. Information we collect

Account information: name, email, password (stored encrypted), role, and optional profile details/photo.
Clinic & inventory data: the supplies, counts, vendors, lot numbers, expiration dates, locations, and order activity you enter ("Customer Data").
Usage & technical data: basic log data such as actions taken in the app (for the activity history/audit trail) and standard information your browser sends (e.g., device/browser type).
Payment information: if you subscribe, billing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card number — Stripe does.

We do not want or collect patient/health information. Do not enter PHI into Bodega (see the Terms).

2. How we use information

To provide and operate Bodega (store your inventory, send low-stock and expiration alerts, manage logins and roles).
To send you transactional emails (alerts, password resets, invites) from bodegamed.com.
To maintain security and an audit trail of changes.
To process payments and manage your subscription.
To improve the service and provide support.

We do not sell your data, and we don't show ads.

3. Service providers (sub-processors)

We use trusted providers to run Bodega. They process data only to provide their service to us: - Supabase — database, authentication, and storage. - Netlify — website hosting. - Resend — sending transactional emails. - Stripe — payment processing (paid plans).

4. How we protect data

Each clinic's data is isolated using database-level Row-Level Security, so one clinic cannot access another's data.
Passwords are stored hashed; secrets (like API keys) are stored in an encrypted vault; traffic is served over HTTPS.
No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

5. Data sharing

We share information only: (a) with the service providers above; (b) if required by law or valid legal process; (c) to protect our rights, users, or the public; or (d) as part of a business transfer (e.g., merger or acquisition), with notice.

6. Data retention & your choices

We keep Customer Data while your account is active. Deleted items go to a recoverable Trash before permanent removal.
You can access and export your data, and request deletion of your account and its data, by contacting us.
On account closure, we make data available for export for a reasonable period, then delete it.

7. Cookies & local storage

Bodega uses your browser's local storage to keep you logged in and remember small preferences (like whether you've seen the tour). We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Children

Bodega is a workplace tool and is not directed to children under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated (e.g., by email or in-app). The "Effective date" above shows the latest version.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you give us a mobile phone number and opt in, Bodega (operated by LeadForgeGrowth LLC) may send you text messages related to your account and supply room — for example, low-stock and expiration alerts, order-day reminders, and other service or account notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting in to text messages is optional and is not required to use Bodega.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
